Windermere Youth Project

A representative from Windermere & Bowness Town Council is invited to the WYP Committee Meetings which has six directors and community observers from voluntary organisations in the community.

The meetings are minuted and agendas distributed by email as far as possible. Meetings are held four times a year, usually at 6:30pm on a Monday or Tuesday evening.  The role of the committee is to monitor the budget and work done in the Youth Clubs held at The Phoenix Centre and run by Young Cumbria staff. The committee make funding applications in order to raise funds to maintain the club and facilities.
