Thanks go to all the individuals and groups who went out and about in such poor weather this week and cleaned up our beautiful area. A big round of applause to the Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, ladies of the Inner Wheel, Windermere Women's Institute, Goodly Dale School, Brownies & Rainbows, Theresa Wooll, Kevin Trevor from Brambles, David Bolton, Frank Wilson. Altogether over 30 bags of rubbish was removed from our beautiful area by Ben Taylor of SLDC.

The Clean for the Queen week in Windermere has been organised for the week commencing 27th March 2017. Local groups will be getting together to pick litter around the area and spruce it up.
